Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard has dropped a huge hint about the future of his Belgian international teammate, and friend, Romelu Lukaku.
The 24-year-old Everton striker, who used to play for Chelsea is wanted by the Premier League champions to spearhead their attack for next season, amid rumors of an imminent Diego Costa exit.
Hazard and Lukaku are known to be very close friends, with both players having younger brothers who are also close as well.
Hazard, 26, who shone brightly for Chelsea in the outgoing season, was asked about whether The Blues will be extending his contract, but he gave an answer that is sure to delight a lot of Chelsea fans.
Hazard, whose 16 league goals propelled Chelsea to the title is wanted as a galactico signing for Real Madrid, is widely tipped to leave Stamford Bridge after this season, however, with his family being settled in London means any offer the Spanish giants make will have to be a world record for Chelsea to even consider selling their best player.
Antonio Conte will have been shocked by Chelsea’s display in the FA Cup Final. Speaking to HNB recently, Belgian news outlet, Hazard replied when quizzed about a new Chelsea deal, said, “If I’m signing a new deal, there’s maybe no money left for Romelu. I’m joking”.
