Arsenal are set to announce Sead Kolasinac as their first signing of the summer after reaching an agreement with the Schalke defender, according to report from Metro.
The left-back, who has already said goodbye to his Schalke team-mates will join the Gunners on a free transfer, and as per reports Kolasinac will either sign a five-year deal or a four-year contract with an
option of an extra year.
Arsenal has been on the trail of the Bosnia international in the last few months, though Arsene Wenger has refused to make any public comment concerning any deal for him, Gianluca Di Marzio say the North
London club have already secured Kolasinac’s signature and a confirmation will be announced soon.
Arsenal are so keen to overhaul their squad this summer after a disappointing season which saw them finishing outside the top four in the Premier League and missing out on the Champions League next
season.
They face Chelsea in the FA Cup final showdown -which is their last hope of claiming a sliverware this season- at the Wembley on Sunday.
Kolasinac’s versatility in defence has not gone unnoticed and Arsenal will be glad to have beaten both AC Milan and Man City to his signature. The 23-year-old can also play as a centre-back or as a
defensive midfielder.
Kolasinac, who was suspended for Schalke last league of the season made more 100 appearances for the German club since breaking into their senior team and Played 36 games this season, scoring three
goals.
