With the constant speculations surrounding the future of Hector Bellerin at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal Wenger is in the market to look for a new right-back and he is reportedly interested in signing
Real Madrid defender Danilo, according to report from Daily Star.
Arsenal are out of the Champions League for next season and it is believed that could tempt Bellerin to consider quitting the North London club.
Barcelona are also planning to lure the Spanish defender back to the Nou Camp as they are yet to find the right replacement for Dani Alve who left for Juventus last summer.
And with that in mind, Wenger is ready to move for Danilo but will have to fend off competition from French giants Paris Saint-Germain who have also expressed interests in his services.
Danilo has become frustrated with life at the Santiago Bernabeu after falling down the pecking order behind Dani Carvajal.
The Brazilian right-back moved to the La Liga champion from Porto in 2015 for £27 million but has managed only 55 appearances over the last two seasons as he has failed to impress the Los Balncos coach Zindine Zidane.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Real President Florentino Perez is willing to accept as low as £17 million for Danilo paving way Arsenal to come on board and he could be a perfect replacement for
Bellerin who could rejoin Barcelona this summer.
Danilo made 23 appearances, including 16 in the Spanish League this season. He won the Champions League with Real last season and the La Liga this season which confirms his present at the club will never be forgotten. He won two league titles with Porto.
