Man United in “serious talks’ to sign Chelsea’s prime target, fans will like this

Report reaching us claimed that Manchester United are set to Hijack Chelsea deal for Belgium international striker Romeru Lukaku.

According to the Metro, United are in serious negotiation with Eveton to sign Lukaku this summer.

The sudden move for the Belgian signature by United is believed to be a result of frustration in signing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Marata.

United could have upper hand over Chelsea to sign Lukaku given that the Red Devils are willing to swap their skipper Wayne Rooney, plus cash for the Belgian signature.

This will surely be a pay-back time for United after Chelsea hijacked their move for former Barcelona winger Pedro in 2015 summer transfer window.

Rooney made a claim last year that Everton were the only club beside United he will want to play for should he depart Old Trafford.

“Manchester United and Everton are the only clubs I have played for as a professional footballer,” he said.

“I am happy to say now that, whatever may happen in the future, I will never play for another Premier League club.”

The former Chelsea striker was on fine form for Everton last season scoring 25 league goals while also helping his team qualify for next season Europa Cup campaign.

However, Lukaku will not come cheap, as the Mersey side club currently values him at £100 million.

The forward is currently enjoying the off-season with United midfielder Paul Pogba in Los Angeles as a picture of the duo surface on the internet on Tuesday
